Josh Neville a 27-year-old man from Auckland has had the same weekend routine for the past couple of years, every Saturday Josh and a few of his mates would have a few quiet bevvies then inevitably hit Auckland town til the early hours of Sunday morning.
However, since Josh has reached the tender age of 27 he’s realised that hangovers last til at least Tuesday of the following week and decided he needs to turn his life around, in doing so, Josh has joined an early morning Sunday run club, as he believes waking up at 4 am and running 10kms will give him a sense of superiority over his bevvy drinking, town galavanting mates.
Josh’s friends were more or less supportive of their best mate’s newfound hobby right after telling him that he could “Run at any time of the day” and “Why don’t you just join a gym” but they soon came round and told him
“You’ve outgrown us, It’s time for you to join the other runners who post early morning Instagram stories with the distance they’ve run for the three people who care”
