With New Zealand’s iconic loaf unavailable overseas, Vogels has found a new way to combat this by diving head-first into the fashion scene and unveiling BreadyWear, an innovative travelwear collection.
BreadyWear is designed exclusively for Kiwis to take their beloved bread overseas without having to worry about extra baggage fees.
Created by up-and-coming fashion designer Vicki Foggo, the limited edition collection features the Breaded Jacket, which holds up to 32 slices of Vogel’s and the Neckloaf which can hold two whole loaves.
“The transparent design is both fashionable and functional, allowing the wearer to take their Vogel’s abroad while unashamedly flaunting the bread in front of jealous passengers,” said Vogel’s spokesperson, Jesper Poulsen.
“BreadyWear is a genius solution for those wondering how they will ever survive overseas without their Vogel’s loaves, now, they can look stylish while keeping their beloved bread close, rather than having to stuff it into their luggage and pay those extra baggage fees.”
The collection’s designer Vicki Foggo said she jumped at this opportunity and it became a passion project for her.
“As a Vogel’s fan myself, this has been something of a passion project for me, and I’m proud to be helping people travel with their Vogel’s, thanks to BreadyWear.”
This new Breadywear collection can now be acquired at Auckland Airport on April 9th for a limited time.
