25-year-old Samantha Owen is a self-proclaimed “Shopaholic” and claims to have a PhD in “Girl math” which some of her friends would say is her biggest personality trait.
Recently, after maxing out all of her afterpay accounts she found a lovely Evelyn quilted medium convertible shoulder bag from Kate Spade for $400 that she decided she must have.
Like a Mathematician to a calculator, Samantha pulled out all the girl math tools. Firstly, she had recently received a 200 dollar tax return which is “basically free money” then she pulls out her favourite girl math formula, the trusty “cost per wear”.
She says “If you use the $200 tax return, the bag is then $200, then if I wear it 200 times it means it only costs a dollar a day and then any use after that it means the bag is basically free.”
Like a scientist discovering a new element, Samantha has girl mathed the hell to get that Kate Spade Bag.
Samanatha’s friends looked on in awe as the only words they could muster were “ok slay girl”.
