Big Meta has unveiled “Orion”, a prototype of the most augmented reality glasses ever made, allowing Kiwi’s to pretend they can buy a house in Auckland and avoid every other aspect of reality.
We literally got Tony Stark glasses before the price of cucumber drops below the price of five dollars.
These glasses blend the physical and digital worlds together offering users holographic displays and an interface powered by AI.
Orion allows the wearer with digital content in real-time without being taken away from their real life surroundings.
Like something out of a Black Mirror episode, It’s supposed to be a wearable device that integrates into daily life, to stay connected while remaining present in the physical world.
Mark Zuckerberg said that while there is no release date as of yet, that this is a future consumer device that will undergo upgrades and be released in the coming years.
