Uber Eats has announced a significant expansion across Aotearoa announcing 12 new locations.

The new locations include: Taupō, Masterton, Levin, Whakatāne, Tokoroa, Te Awamutu, Hāwera in the North Island and Timaru, Blenheim, Ashburton, Oamaru and Wānaka in the South Island.

General manager of Uber Eats Aotearoa Andy Bowie says they are very excited to get this expansion up and running.

“We’re incredibly proud of the positive impact Uber has had in Aotearoa over the last 10 years, and we’re excited to bring the convenience of Uber Eats to 12 new locations across NZ”.

“We know the hospitality industry is looking forward to a big summer, and this expansion means more Kiwis can experience the convenience of getting their favourite meals & grocery delivered straight to their doorstep, creating new opportunities for local businesses to grow and delivery people to earn” Bowie added.

Uber Eats is currently available in seventeen towns, and with these additions that number will grow to twenty nine.

Uber Eats will start being available in the new locations from early November.
