Rapper’s love a cryptic post, and that seems to be the case with Champagnepapi otherwise known as Drake as he shared a somewhat cryptic instagram story.
On the Instagram story, Mushroom Creative, the production arm of Australian touring company Mushroom Group, shared a reel of Drake’s last Australian tour, with the caption: “Sounds like the boy @champagnepapi is coming back to Aus. It’s been 7 years… last time it went a little something like this.”
Almost instantly the Canadian rapper shared that reel to his own story with the eyes emoji, leaving some to believe he could be returning after 7 long years.
Drake’s last Australian tour was in 2017 for “Boy Meets World” and since then he has dropped the albums “Scorpion”, “Certified Lover Boy”, “Honestly, Nevermind” and “For All The Dogs” just last year.
As cryptic as it may be we can only assume that Drake will be returning to the land down under.
As New Zealand has been slowly gaining bigger and bigger acts such as Travis Scott only weeks ago, could we see Drake making the hop across the ditch and performing here?.
