The All Blacks have finally ended their Wellington hoodoo by beating the Wallabies 33-13, the first win at Sky Stadium since 2018.

This win was a fitting way to say goodbye to departing vets Sam Cane and TJ Perenara.

Razor’s men had a shaky start to the game conceding the first try early on just for the second time this year however, they finished strong and kept the Wallabies scoreless in the second half to win by a 20 point margin.

Australia struck early through Fraser Mcreight after surprisingly turning down an easy shot at three points.

The Wallabies failed to capitalise on this however having to rely on the kicking game of Noah Lolesio to apply pressure, despite this Australia failed to score a single point in the second 40.

Concerns that the Sky Stadium curse would strike again were put to ease when winger Caleb Clarke scored the first of his two tries right before the halftime buzzer to make the score 19-13.

It was a lead that the All Blacks would never give up as substitute prop Tamaiti Williams crashed over early into his second half stint to extend the lead before Caleb Clarke put the nail in the coffin scoring his second try.

The All Blacks will next play Japan on the 26th of October.
