50,000 Kiwis packed out Eden Park last night to witness Coldplay’s 172 stop on their Music of the Spheres world tour to make a triumphant return to New Zealand for the first time in 8 years.
The first show took place last night with another on Friday and the final show on Saturday, meaning if you are an avid Instagram user be prepared to see hoards of Coldplay content.
It seems every man and his dog went and if you didn’t where were you? If you thought last night was too much it’s time to batten down the hatches and prepare for two more waves of Snapchats and Instagram stories.
It was refreshing for a group of Brits to come to Eden Park and not get their arses kicked by the All Blacks frontman Chris Martin told the crowd in their first show making a strong case for doubling Eden Park’s six shows a year limit.
Love them or hate them, it’s a spectacle to see.
