Donald Glover otherwise known as Childish Gambino has cancelled his Australian and New Zealand leg of the New World Tour.
In a statement, Gambino recognised that his recovery from a recent surgery was taking longer than expected and would hinder his tour.
“Unfortunately, my path to recovery is taking longer than expected,” he said.
“The upcoming concerts in Australia and New Zealand are cancelled. One of the last things I’d ever want to do is disappoint my fans.
“I really appreciate the support you have shown and know that I will do what I can to give you an exceptional experience when the time is right. Thank you.”
Gambino’s New World Tour was scheduled to kick off in Auckland the 28th of January before making his way across the ditch in early Feb.
Ticketek has advised refunds will be made automatically.
