A new study and research poll involving nearly 4000 international travellers has ranked Christchurch Airport as the best in the world.
This comes after the publication, Discovercars.com revealed which airport offers “the best experience” in the world based on reviews left by fellow travellers.
Those who left reviews ranked the airports they visited on a scale of 1 through 10. Of the airports that received 50 or more reviews, Otautahi came out as champion.
The airport averaged a score of 9.2/10 with travellers reporting they had a pleasant experience, including exceptional customer service and simple navigation through the airport.
One traveller said their trip through Christchurch was a “smooth and easy experience”, while another said it was “easy to locate places.”
Aotearoa featured twice more in the top 10 with Queenstown coming in second with a score of 9.1/10 and Auckland at 10th with a score of 8.49/10.
