Those childhood dreams of using Monopoly money as real money have finally come true as for one day only KFC is letting you use it to buy some of the colonel’s fried chicken.
After growing frustration amongst Kiwis to win any big promotions at fast food chains (Maccas Monopoly), KFC has come in clutch with a frankly insane promotion.
On the 8th of October between 10am and 4pm, you can use Monopoly money as legal tender and purchase a range of fried goods.
You can choose from three popular menu items: two Secret Recipe Chicken and fries, two Hot & Crispy Boneless and fries or six Chicken Nuggets and fries.
It’s as simple as breaking out your old monopoly board, probably with a missing dice and character pieces, getting the cash and going to KFC.
